Being a yacht delivery skipper in Asia requires a unique set of skills and qualifications.
- Minimum of 50,000 miles of experience & Yachtmaster Offshore Certificate or equivalent.
- Yacht handling experience in varied weather.
- Strong mechanical skills and ability to solve unexpected situations and issues.
- Physical fitness and endurance for long voyages and watch keeping duties.
- Excellent communication skills for crew, clients, and authorities.
- Value of safety procedures and emergency protocols.
